1. Can the DART charge my laptop as fast as my old larger power adapter?

Absolutely. The DART delivers 65W of power. That means ample current to charge your laptop as fast as your existing adapter.

2. Can the DART charge my USB device (tablet, smartphone, camera, etc.) at the same time that my laptop is being charged?

Yes, The DART charges your laptop and USB device simultaneously. FINsix’s USB charger is 2.1A (10.5 watts) so it has sufficient power to charge your USB devices at full speed.

3. How do I know if the DART is compatible with my laptop?

The DART is compatible with PC laptops that are ≤65W and require 18 to 21Vdc. Check for your specific laptop make/model using our Compatibility Checker. If you do not see your laptop listed email us at

4. Is the DART compatible with the Apple MacBook and Microsoft Surface?

The DART is currently not compatible with the Apple MacBook and the Microsoft Surface. We may have compatible versions in future. If you would like to be first to know when new models and accessories are available join our notification list.

5. Will you be selling the DART to customers outside of North America?

Yes. FINsix is planning to sell International DART models starting in 2017. A list of countries where the adapter is sold will be posted on FINsix’s website once production of the international versions begin. If you would like to be first to know when those models are available join our notification list.

6. Can I use the DART in other countries that have different power voltages and frequencies?

Yes. The DART can be used anywhere in the world. If you are traveling outside of the country where you purchased your DART, you may need a plug adapter in order to plug into local outlets.

7. Does the DART meet all applicable EMI regulations?

Yes. The DART meets FCC Part 15 Class B EMI requirements for North America plus all international EMI requirements for a laptop charger.

8. Is DART safe to use even though it was not made by my laptop manufacturer?

Yes. The DART has over-voltage protection, short circuit protection, over-temperature protection, and is output current limited to ensure the safety of its users. DART packaging clearly displays all certification logos.

9. Can I cancel my order?

Yes, Customer satisfaction is very important to all of us at FINsix. You can submit a request to cancel your order on the same day the order was placed (unless your product is on backorder). Please note that your request may not be able to be approved because your order has already shipped. To cancel send a request to:

10. What is your Return Policy? Satisfaction Guarantee?

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: FINsix provides all our direct purchase customers with a satisfaction guarantee that if you are not satisfied with your DART we will refund your money. You need to contact us within fourteen (14) days of receipt of your DART by submitting a Support Ticket. Our support representatives will provide instructions on how to obtain a return authorization so you may return your DART for a full refund. Buyer is responsible for shipping expense. If you purchased your DART from another retailer please contact them for their return policy and procedures.

RETURN POLICY: If your DART is not working and you need to return it, FINsix will accept the return in accordance with the DART Warranty (see DART User Guide for warranty details). Please submit a Support Ticket and a FINsix representative will provide you a return authorization so we can replace your DART.
